    Russia Launches Massive Drone Assault

    Russia deployed 142 attack and decoy drones against Ukraine overnight, the Air Force reported on Telegram.

    Explosions shook Kherson, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro during the strikes.

    Ukrainian forces intercepted 126 drones, while 16 drones hit 10 different locations.

    Kherson Suffers Casualties and Damage

    Local reports confirmed two deaths and 14 injuries in Kherson.

    Drones damaged nine homes, schools, a hospital, an administrative building, a gas station, and several cars.

    Odesa Faces Power Outages

    Media confirmed one person injured in Odesa, with Chornomorsk sustaining the worst damage.

    Governor Oleg Kiper said 29,000 residents lost electricity as energy infrastructure failed.

    Kiper added crews began restoration work immediately, running critical facilities on generators.

    Zelenskyy Highlights Russian Losses

    President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned Russia’s third major assault this week, warning global pressure remains crucial.

    He reported Russian forces suffered “heavy losses” in Pokrovsk, where Moscow concentrates attacks.

    Zelenskyy wrote Ukrainian units continue assigned missions in Donetsk, methodically defeating Russian forces.

    He added Russia lost over 290,000 soldiers killed or seriously wounded in the first eight months of 2025.
